mambaSoft is an individual enterprise founded in march 2006 by Silvan Calarco. It is located in Torino, Italy.
We are specialized on thinking and providing IT solutions around Open Source software
and in particular the GNU/Linux operating system.
Our professional activities include:
web sites development on top of the most common Open Source technologies (Apache, PHP, Joomla, Magento, Wordpress, ...)
online selling of computers, peripherals and accessories
In order to give high satisfaction to our customers we collaborate with IT professionals to perform wide-range tecnological tasks.
In 2008 mambaSoft becomes an online reseller of Personal Computers and other products
associated with the openmamba operating system by creating its own e-commerce website.

DMD Med Tech s.r.l. presents the VistaVision Chart Panel,
a visual acuity test for opticians developed in collaboration with mambaSoft for the
operating system implementation and the customer application support.
The openmamba embedded system has been ad-hoc developed with the following features:
monolitic kernel with custom board support based on AMD Geode LX processor
openmamba embedded opeating system with Xorg graphical server and video
support at 1280x1024 resolution
system boot from compact flash in less that 15 seconds
remote controlled input management (including hardware startup and shutdown)
support for application development with gambas (an object oriented implementation of the Basic language)
support for software updates from USB storage device
